in Kniebis, 72250 Freudenstadt (Black Forest, Germany)
Saturday, July 25 – Saturday, August 1, 2026

Susen Werner (5th Dan, PhD in Sports Science) was inspired to begin Aikido 25 years ago during a journey through Mongolia by a fellow traveler. Since then, she has trained with Sensei Bodo Rödel in Cologne and regularly attends seminars with Sensei Christian Tissier. Many other teachers have influenced her Aikido, especially Sensei Tsuruzo Miyamoto and Sensei Yoko Okamoto.
From 2015 to 2020, she taught regularly at the Aikido School Cologne, and since 2016 she has been teaching Aikido as a regular course at the German Sport University Cologne. She has been a long-standing member of the National Technical Committee of the Aikido Federation Germany.
In her Aikido practice and teaching, Susen integrates precise technical bodywork, knowledge from her sports science studies, and experience from meditation and contact improvisation practice. She very much looks forward to exploring these elements together in a women-centered space.
